River City Marketplace offers neighborhood residents a wonderful shopping destination and shopping options include Super Walmart, Lowes, Petsmart, Michaels, Old Navy, & Office Max. Locals can catch a movie at the 18 screen Hollywood theater and grab a bite at one of the many popular chain restaurants near the theater including, Chilis, Olive Garden and Red Lobster. If you prefer a local dining establishment check out Chowder Ted's, this small, out-of-the-way, unpretentious restaurant offers delicious, affordable food with a delightful view of the water.

You'll also find transportation convenience in the Northside neighborhood. Jacksonville International Airport is conveniently located in the Northside area of town. If you travel frequently, living close to this hub might be a great consideration for ease of travel and to reduce your precious commute time to and from home. Residents who settle on the easterly portion of the Northside enjoy convenient access to the section of 295 also known as 9A which makes commuting to Mayport Naval base a breeze via the Dames Point bridge.
