Located south of San Marco and San Jose and north and east of Mandarin, Baymeadows stretches from the St. Johns River to east of I-95. Home to numerous apartment complexes & plenty of restaurant options this area experienced a boom during the 80's & 90s and is a very established area of town.

Highlights

Location, location, location. Baymeadows provides easy access to all areas of Jacksonville, thanks to its proximity to I-95, Phillips Highway, San Jose Boulevard, J. Turner Butler Boulevard and 9A/I-295. In a few short minutes, you can drive from your apartment to the upscale Avenues Mall, stop in at Tinseltown for dinner and a movie, or spend an entire day enjoying 1.1 million square feet of retail, hotel, restaurant and residential options at the up-and-coming St. Johns Town Center. Two, private, golf courses offer members a promising day on the links without straying far from your apartment. A visit to Downtown and the Beaches is possible in just ten minutes.

Heads Up

You will find lots of restaurants & shopping options in this area, a majority of which are located in the numerous strip malls on Baymeadows Road which is the main thoroughfare on this side of town. Baymeadows also has it's share of heavier traffic during morning, noon and evening rush hours, be sure to add a few extra minutes to your commute if traveling at these times.

Regardless of your preference, Baymeadows has an array of nightlife and restaurants to fit any mood, close to your apartment. Stop in at Mediterrania for a family night out. Want to spend time with beautiful people who live in your apartment complex or the one across the street – head to Terra Nova Lounge to dance the night away.
