Most of the students attending UNF are from Florida. The city of Jacksonville is one of the largest cities by land mass and is extremely diverse. Some areas are rural, but the downtown area is very urban. Many different cultures are represented in Jacksonville, so don't worry! The city is home to artists, surfers, musicians, a goth scene, a hipster scene and many others. Not sure where you will fit in? The Beaches are pretty laid back and lots of UNF students who live in student apartments go there to party.
