How do I get my utilities turned on? Will I need to put down a deposit?

Contact JEA (the local utility company) to set up a day and time to have your utilities turned on. Try to make the appointment a day or so before you move in, as JEA charges a fee to have it turned on the same day. JEA generally requires a deposit depending on your credit score. It is usually around two hundred dollars. Check out our Resources page for more information.
