Spring is here in Jacksonville! Spring is a short time in Florida where temperatures are a little milder, humidity is a little lower, and mosquitoes aren't out in force just yet. You may be wondering what to do outside your new apartment in Jacksonville during the spring season, so we compiled a list of some fun things and events to do around our area. If you are looking to get outside of the city for a fun day in the outdoors visit one of our local farms to pick your own fruit. Blu By U Farm plans to open near the end of April and is located near the westside of Jacksonville. For those that live in the Orange Park or St Johns County Towers Farms is just west of the St Johns River in Palatka and offers u-pick blueberries, strawberries, and other produce throughout the year. Or if your Jacksonville apartment is near the northside area Nan's Blueberry Farm opens closer to May.

Spring in Jacksonville usually means fun festivals and events. The Visit Jacksonville website is a great resource to save and check often for the latest events around your Jacksonville apartment. Whether you enjoy the arts, music, shows or sporting events, you will find no shortage of things to do.
